Are you looking for something different or fast-paced outside of your normal life? Are you looking to give back to your community in a very rewarding way? Well, the Southampton Fire Company may be for you. 

The Southampton Fire Company or “SFC” is a 100% volunteer fire company that provides primary fire and rescue services to Upper Southampton township and mutual aid to its surrounding municipalities. We take great pride in our membership, equipment, and our abilities. If you think you might be interested, see what else SFC has to offer below!

When you first join SFC, you will be able to:

• Meet our membership and start to work with some of our firefighters on basic firefighting skills

• Participate and actively engage in company level training nights

• Assist in administrative and organizational functions as needed

• Engage in fire prevention education and community events

When the opportunity exists, we will help to enroll you in the Bucks County Basic Fire Academy offered through Bucks County Community College where you will:

• Obtain an entry level knowledge of firefighting, rescue, hazardous materials, CPR, and first aid

• Test for National Certification under the ProBoard as a Firefighter I, and a Hazardous Materials Responder at the Awareness and Operations Level.

Once you complete your entry level training, you will be able to:

• Work with Southampton Fire Company line officers to understand SFC operational guidelines and meet functional goals

• Respond to fire & rescue emergencies when available

• Continue to learn advanced firefighting tactics though SFC drill nights and additional training courses offered by local training centers
